• India has been ranked 20th on Climate Change Performance Index (CCPI) 2017 according to Germanwatch and Climate Action Network Europe Publication.

• National Geographic Traveler magazine announced its annual Best of the World list in 3 categories such as Cities, Nature, or Culture.

• India has been ranked 138th in global rank Index 2016 with a score of 2.69 while it has been ranked 26th in the Regional Rank Index 2016.India is among 9 countries in the region which falls within the least connected countries LCC in the ranking.It was ranked 135th in the global rank Index 2015 with a score of 2.50

• According to the QS Graduate Employability Ranking for 2017, IIT Kharagpur has been ranked as the top institution in the country for the second successive year. The IITKharagpur has been placed at the highest position among Indian Institutions with a rank ranging between 81-90, from a list of 300 Universities from all over the world. The list is topped by the Stanford University of USA.

• The Financial Capital of India, Mumbai has been ranked among the World’s top Tourists destinations for 2017.The Booking.com analyzed the top 300 destinations based on growth in search and bookings to find the most upcoming places to visit in 2017.

• According to the report of commercial Real-estate agent Cushman & Wakefield, New Delhi’s Khan Market has moved by down 2 spots on its global retail ranking to become the world’s 28th most expensive retail location globally.

• The 7th Global Wealth Report, issued by the Credit Suisse Research Institute says that global wealth has risen by 1.4% i.e. USD 3.5 trillion to USD 256 trillion. However in India the household wealth has decreased by 0.8% i.e $26 billion to $3,099 billion in 2016.Japan registered the highest increase in global wealth among all countries, USD 3.9 trillion increase was registered by Japan. While the United Kingdom registered biggest loss in global wealth of USD 1.5 trillion.
