Answers
S11. Ans.(c)
Sol. In 1980-81 is 105 while in 84-85 is 151.
So percentage increases is ((151-105)/105)×100=(46/105)×100=43%

S12. Ans.(d)
Sol. Total requirement = 120 + 129 + 137 + 145 + 170 = 701
Total supply = 105 + 115 + 124 + 130 + 151 = 625
Difference = 701 - 625 = 76

S13. Ans.(b)
Sol. 170 = 97 × x
So, x=170/97=1.75

S14. Ans.(d)
Sol. % Growth =(170-118)/118×100=44%
In 1974-75 to 1979-80 growth =(118-78)/78=40/78×100=51%
So, more = 51 - 44 = 7%

S15. Ans.(c)
Sol. In 1979-80 demand was 118 which completed in 82-83 means 3 years
